The City of Seattle recently completed an environmental impact statement analyzing various courses of action around code revisions to existing Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) code. The report, while long, is a comprehensive look at the issue in the incredibly hot market of Seattle. It is an impressive piece of work that is certainly an opportunity for Snohomish County jurisdictions to consider in their own work.
