- Summary: PSRC’s Regional Housing Strategy (RHS) is a comprehensive look at the state of the region’s housing as we plan for VISION 2050. Notably, the RHS anticipates 800,000 new housing units will be needed to accommodate population growth by 2050, with many of those homes affordable to households at below 80% of the Area Median Income.

- The Self Sufficiency Standard is a state-by-state look at what households of different characteristics would need in a community to be self sufficient. At the high level, it confirms local knowledge that cost of living is rising faster than incomes in Snohomish County, and in fact in every county in Washington State.
